U.S. Army buys seven AH-64E Apaches from Boeing

Boeing’s operation in Mesa, Ariz. has obtained a $130-million contract modification from the U.S. Army for seven AH-64E Apaches. The agreement is part of a larger $1.2-billion full rate production contract. Work will take place in Mesa with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2017. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., issued the contract.
