Atlanta, Ga.-based Precision Aviation Group (PAG), a leading provider of products and value-added services to the worldwide aerospace and defense industries, has named Adrienne Robinson vice president, business development.
Prior to her new appointment, Robinson served PAG in dual roles: She joined the company as vice president, business development in 2012 and three months later was asked to take on the additional role of president, Precision Aviation Services (PAS) in Peachtree City, Ga. During her leadership of PAS, Robinson negotiated an agreement with Airbus Helicopters Inc. (AHI) designating PAS as an AHI Service Center, the first in the Atlanta market. Under her guidance, PAS also became a dealer and a service center for the Robinson Helicopter Co., one of the most trusted names in rotorcraft.
“With these new agreements, Adrienne has accomplished so much in a short period of time at PAS,” says David B. Mast, president/CEO of PAG. “Under her leadership, PAS also was able to expand its Peachtree City facilities by adding a second hanger exclusively dedicated to PAS’ Rotorcraft Services Division in 2013. Her new role will give her the resources and the time to focus on why we originally brought her on board and to do what she does best – business development. We are excited to have her energy, vision, and industry knowledge back in Atlanta.”
Robinson’s promotion comes as David A. Ford, formerly general manager of Chromalloy Gas Turbines, was named president of Precision Aviation Services (PAS), allowing Robinson to concentrate on growing PAG’s family of aviation services companies.
“Thanks to David Mast and the rest of the PAG team, we have developed a clear idea of what our company will look like in the future,” says Robinson. “It’s my job to help get us there. With global changes in the aviation industry and the many new advances in aeronautical electronics, we see lots of opportunity for PAG companies and our business partners.”
Prior to joining PAG in 2012, Robinson was the director of sales at Vector Aerospace and the former president of Van Isle Avionics. She has also served on the board of directors for the Aircraft Electronics Association and the British Columbia Institute of Technology Aviation Advisory Board.
