Northrop Grumman appoints head of aerospace programs in Australia

Northrop Grumman has designated Scott Harris to lead aerospace programs within the company’s Australian branch. In this role, Harris will be responsible for representing all Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Sector operations throughout Australia and the region.

Harris will report directly to Northrop Grumman Australia chief executive Ian Irving, with strategic responsibility to Mary Glickman, the director of international strategic positioning within the Aerospace Systems sector.

Harris joined Northrop Grumman through the recent acquisition of Qantas Defence Services, where he most recently held the position of head of customer business. Prior to working with Qantas, Scott spent 30 years with the Australian Defence Forces, leaving with the rank of Lt. Col. Harris holds master’s degrees in engineering science (project management) and management studies and is an accredited certified practicing project director within the Australia Institute of Project Managers.
