Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) has delivered the first EC145 T2 HEMS kits to launch customer INAER Aviation Italia.  MAG completed the STC approval process with EASA in October of 2014.

MAG competed among major HEMS suppliers and was awarded the program after a long and extensive selection process. The HEMS system was evaluated under very restrictive operational requirements dictated by the harsh and different environments.

Through the design process, MAG’s team of engineers collaborated with INAER’s medical and rescue crews to create an extremely versatile configuration adaptable to a variety of quick-change cabin layouts and meet a broad range of HEMS missions in multiple operating environments.

“MAG’s new HEMS system for the EC145 T2 provides maximum flexibility and assures multiple cabin layouts while minimizing conversion time, manpower requirements and guarantees a low stress cabin environment thanks to the benefits of the ergonomics offered.” said Armando Sassoli, Co-General Manager of Mecaer Aviation Group. “We achieved all three goals and are confident this system is going to help operators save a lot of lives.” Sassoli continued.

“We worked in close contact with MAG’s team,  mixing our skills and experience to build a highly engineered and well-designed system which will allow us to deliver  the highest quality  of service for our customers, “said Andrea Stolfa, CEO of Inaer Aviation Italia.
