Latitude Press Release | March 4, 2015

Estimated reading time 2 minutes, 2 seconds.

First introduced in 2012, Latitude Flight Data Analytics™ (LFDA), Latitude Technologies web-based flight data management system, has been very well-received by fleet operators deploying Latitude’s IONode™ FDM system. In keeping with Latitude’s commitment to continually enhance the customer’s experience with all the company’s products and services, Latitude has added a number of important new features to the LFDA platform for 2015.

New LFDA features include an expanded landing page dashboard with fleet status, event trending, aircraft usage statistics, and other configurable modules. Navigating through the LFDA dashboard, users now have access to an approach analysis toolkit to help in identifying unstable approaches and glideslope deviations. In addition, LFDA graphing tools have been enhanced to allow for detailed analysis of multiple series that can be stacked and even overlaid for adjustable ranges and time frames. Latitude also continues to expand LFDA’s library of custom airframes and displays including configurable glass cockpit animations.

Commenting on customer utilization of the LFDA system, Latitude President Mark Insley observed, “Latitude was the first company to market with a reliable, expandable, and cost-affordable flight data monitoring and data management system. Latitude Flight Data Analytics is an important component of our entire FDM system and is in daily use by both independent analysts as well as fleet operators themselves.” “We are in regular contact with LFDA users across the globe, getting updates on how they are using LFDA and what additional tools and functionality they would like to see in the platform. As today’s new features and functionality demonstrate, we listen to our customers and we are quick to respond. LFDA is in a class of its own when it comes to user-friendly and cost-affordable flight data review and immediate post-flight analysis.”
