Japan Air Self Defense Force examines V-22 during review

During an air review that occurs every three years, representatives of the Japan Air Self Defense Force showcased its defensive assets, and the U.S. Marines participated with a Bell-Boeing MV-22B.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was among the participants who viewed the cockpit of an MV-22B Osprey at Hyakuri Air Base during the review on Oct. 26. The Osprey is with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Air Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
