Estimated reading time 2 minutes, 4 seconds.

For more than 30 years, Helitrades has been the trusted go-to facility for repair, overhaul and spare parts sales, by both civilian and military helicopter operators worldwide.
The company is a Bell Helicopter Textron-approved customer service facility for component overhauls on Bell models 205, 206, 206L, 212, 407 and 412, plus field maintenance on the Bell 412. Helitrades is also a North American-approved Woodward HRT licensed repair service facility for Woodward HRT hydraulic components installed in the Bell 204, 205, 206, 206L, 212, 407, 412 and 427.
With such success, Gerald Tom, company president/owner, knew it was time to do even more for customers. Helitrades purchased Uscan Aviation Sales, a sales, overhaul, and major repair facility specializing in Bell Helicopters located in Alliston, Ont., just northwest of Toronto, in order to offer customers structural repairs in addition to component overhauls.
“Now being rebranded under the Helitrades name, this company has Bell Helicopter approved airframe and tailboom fixtures,” said Tom. “With the addition of Uscan’s facilities, Helitrades can now repair all airframe dynamic components for the Bell 47, 204, 205, 206 series, 212, 407 and 412 series helicopters, as well as carry out field maintenance on Bell Models 47, 206B/L, 222/230 and Robinson R22/R44.”
The company’s ongoing clients include the Canadian military, the Canadian Coast Guard, and various commercial/government operators worldwide.
“Our reputation is built on doing what we promise to do, on time and within budget,” said Tom. “The fact that Helitrades has grown and prospered speaks to our success in keeping our promises to customers, and having them return to use repeatedly over the years.”
Now with three locations across Canada, Helitrades offers A.O.G. service for component overhaul and parts sales 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
