HAI seeks nominations for board of directors

The Helicopter Association International (HAI) is currently seeking nominations for candidates for its board of directors. Board elections will take place at the HAI Membership Meeting and Breakfast, March 3, during Heli-Expo 2015 in Orlando.

In accordance with Article IV, Section 4.01 of the HAI By-Laws, candidates must be nominated to serve a term of three years as Directors beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018, to fill the following upcoming vacancies:

• Regular Members – Commercial: Two (2) director positions
• Regular Members – General Aviation:  One (1) director position

The three current HAI Directors whose terms will expire on June 30, 2015, are —

• Gale Wilson, Hillcrest Aircraft Company (Commercial)
• Torbjorn “TC” Corell, Southern California Edison (General Aviation)
• Lynn D. Malmstrom, CALSTAR (Commercial)

TC Corell and Lynn Malmstrom have indicated their desire to seek reelection. However, Gale Wilson will not be seeking reelection. We would like to sincerely thank Gale for his dedicated service to HAI and the international helicopter community.

In accordance with Article IV, Section 4.04 of the HAI By-Laws, when proposing candidates for nomination, please give consideration to the type of operation and geographic location of each nominee to ensure a diverse Board. View the current HAI Board of Directors.

If you know of a worthy person to fill any of these positions, please coordinate with a membership representative from a Regular HAI Operator member. Nominations must be received by December 19, 2014 to be considered.
