Gulf Coast Avionics to upgrade avionics for DEA helicopters

Rick Garcia, president and CEO of Gulf Coast Avionics Corp., has announced that the company has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to provide new-generation avionics upgrades for select piston aircraft and turbine helicopters operating in the agency’s fleet.

“This is a significant contract win for Gulf Coast Avionics,” Garcia said. “These aircraft play a critical role in supporting our ongoing war on drugs and to know that we will be giving these brave DEA pilot/agents the best combination of avionics reliability and capabilities is a point of great pride for everyone on our team.”
