Estimated reading time 1 minute, 11 seconds.

Bose A20 aviation noise cancelling headsets and electronic flight bags (EFBs) have arrived for the student helicopter pilots at Guidance Aviation of Baton Rouge, La. While the A20 headsets provide an extraordinary level of sound clarity and comfort for the student helicopter pilot, the EFBs (iPad minis) contain geo-referenced navigational charts and ADS-B traffic avoidance data. Each EFB comes with a Survivor iPad case by Griffin Technologies.

The Bose A20 noise cancelling headsets include audio input for GPS and other devices including Bluetooth phone connectivity. It is made in the U.S.A and meets all TSO requirements.

The iPad minis (EFBs) will be used in the cockpit as electronic information management devices. The devices are pre-loaded with Fore Flight Mobile, FAR/AIM, and Guidance Aviation’s Mobile app “My GA,” which provides 24/7 access to hundreds of FAA-approved HD helicopter flight training videos that Guidance Aviation has produced.

Guidance Aviation provides the flight training staff, instructors, and aircraft for the Baton Rouge Community College helicopter aviation program.
