Gotham Air, the luxury helicopter travel company offering affordable six-minute flights from Manhattan to JFK and Newark Airports, announces shared charter flights for weekend getaways and daily commuter destinations. The routes will launch on Thursday, May 21 (Memorial Day Weekend) with reservations beginning today on GothamAir.com and forthcoming on the app.
The expansion will include shared charter helicopter flights from Manhattan to The Hamptons (Southampton, East Hampton, Montauk), Upstate New York (Westchester), New Jersey (Morristown, Atlantic City, Belmar/Wall), Massachusetts (Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Provincetown) and Washington D.C. Gotham Air allows travelers to either choose an individual seat from shared charter flights already listed on their platform or request a new crowd sourced flight if their desired date and time is not listed. Once four to six seats have been sold, the charter flight is confirmed. Completely private helicopter charters are also available at any time.

With these new flights, Gotham Air introduces a new fleet of Bell 407GX helicopters operated by Helicopter Flight Services. Each of these aircraft are equipped with the most advanced noise reduction technology, which Gotham Air has invested in to preserve the peaceful tranquility of the beach towns they will soon serve.
