Blackhawk Composites, Inc. (BCI) is pleased to announce the addition of a new autoclave production process that will enhance its well established oven cure production capability and enable a full spectrum of composite part production for the aerospace industry.

“The autoclave capability was a logical progression for the development of our company,” said Matt Shieman, chairman of BCI. “We can now serve the industry with a full range of part production components from interior cabinetry to advanced structural composite parts.”

Since 2009, BCI has been employing world-class component development methodologies and parts completion processes for aviation industry customers. In addition to the engine cowlings and inlet ducts in production for the Blackhawk Modifications XP42A engine upgrade, BCI produces components for external pods and wing modifications. The company holds ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C certifications for its manufacturing and quality management systems along with FAA PMA authority. These qualifications demonstrate that Blackhawk Composites maintains a world-class quality management system.

Blackhawk Composites will showcase its composites capabilities in Booth 4271, March 3-5 during the Helicopter Association International’s HELI-EXPO Convention in Orlando, Florida.
