The announcement is one of several key European aftermarket support activities implemented by Bell Helicopter in the past several months. In July, the company announced its facility in Prague, Czech Republic would serve as its official customization, delivery and aftermarket service center for Europe. On Tuesday, the company announced a collaboration with sister company TRU Simulation + Training to open a new Bell Helicopter training center in Valencia, Spain.
“Bell Helicopter has seen tremendous growth in the number of aircraft operating in Europe, and we are committed to supporting our customers beyond the sale of the aircraft as well,” said Jason Johnson, director, sales and support for Bell Helicopter’s Customer Support and Services organization. “We are pleased to welcome Vit to the Bell Helicopter team as part of our comprehensive strategy to ensure a strong, regional aftermarket support network.”
