Finmeccanica – AgustaWestland has announced that it will display a VIP AW109 on the greens of the Quail Lodge Golf Course, at this year’s annual Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, in Carmel, Calif.
The only helicopter on display at the Quail, the AW109 offers a unique combination of elegance, high speed, passenger comfort and safety. With seats for the pilot and up to seven passengers and a cruise speed of 154 knots (285 km/h), the aircraft boasts a spacious passenger cabin tailored and finished to the highest levels of Italian craftsmanship.
Chosen by VIP and corporate operators for the sleek design, speed and comfort, all weather capability and mission reliability, the AW109 design and ultra-smooth ride make it the preferred aircraft for discerning customers.
With a 65 percent share in the multiengine segment, Finmeccanica – AgustaWestland plays a leading role in the global VIP/corporate market and offers the largest and most modern range of dedicated products.
In addition to the  AW109 legacy of products for VIP customers,  the bestselling AW139 can range from five to ten luxury seats including luxury refreshment cabinets based on the specific cabin arrangement. The spacious and bright cabin provides flexibility for the most sophisticated requirements. The AW139’s extensive baggage compartment, the largest in its class, permits the carriage of everything required for business or personal trips.
The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, combines the lush setting of the Quail Lodge golf course nestled against the Santa Lucia mountain range with exceptional cuisine and the finest examples of vintage sporting automobiles.
