I recently listed an advertisement at barnstormers for a bambi bucket for sale. I was contacted via email from the USA by a potential customer. The scam is that they will send you a cheque with a higher amount then the item costs and then ask you to send a cheque to a different place with the difference. The cheque you receive is no good and bounces after about a month. Key indicators are a hand written envelope the cheque comes in, no company name and they do not tell you where to ship the product. They tell you a shipping agent will pick up the product. Another key indicator is very poor English in the email. They target aviation or high end industry because it usually deals with high amounts of money and larger companies will not find out about bounced cheque until up to 45 days later.
