United Rotorcraft Solutions Awarded Customizing Contract for Four Helicopters by Cannon Aviation Group

United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS) has been awarded a contract by Cannon Aviation Group to customize an Agusta A119, two Bell 407's and a Eurocopter EC130.

The A119 will receive additional avionics and communications systems, VIP leather interior, custom exterior paint, dual zone input for IPod, auxiliary power for both cockpit and cabin; wire strike protection and a fifth fuel cell kit.

One 407 will be completed with a Garmin Comm/Nav/GPS and transponder; PS Engineering Audio panel, 5 station rear VOX ICS, Avionics Innovations ICE CD/MPS/DVD player to include an MP3 input; air conditioning and AFS inlet barrier filter. The other will have a Garmin Comm 1/Nav/GPS and Comm 2 panel, 5 station rear VOX ICS to include an MP3 input, air conditioner and heater with defroster

URS will customize the EC130 with a Sagem Integrated Cockpit Display, Skywatch TCAS, the Garmin MFD, L-3 WX-500 Stormscope and PS Engineering Audio panel, 4 station rear VOX ICS. This helicopter will also receive a VIP leather interior, Tech Tool bronze tinted windows, air conditioning and a custom exterior paint scheme.

Cannon has configured these helicopters to meet their customers' requirements. The aircraft began arriving at the URS facility this week with delivery expected by mid-February.
